Lawn care technician — Pierce County

Great opportunity: we are hiring a lawn care technician in Pierce County, Washington. You will be based in a public park. Day-to-day duties: • Spray pesticides and fungicides to control pests and disease • Water beds and lawns and set up drip irrigation lines • Mow and edge lawns with petrol and ride-on mowers • Repot nursery stock and pot on cuttings • Weed flower beds and borders by hand and with a hoe • Check and adjust sprinkler timers and irrigation heads Requirements: • Good knowledge of common plants, shrubs and seasonal planting • Understanding of pruning and watering schedules Pay around $3,600 per month, based on your experience.
