Vacancy available: we are hiring a hand presser in Abua/Odual, Rivers State. You will be based in a tailoring workshop. Ideal candidate: • Aware of steam iron safety and basic machine upkeep • Physically fit to lift bundles and handle repetitive work • A keen eye for scorch, shine and uneven creases Your main tasks: • Sort bundles by fabric, shade and order number • Clean and descale the iron soleplate and steam vents • Hang or fold pressed garments and pass them to packing • Spray water or starch to set sharp creases on trousers and shirts • Operate the steam press and vacuum table to finish garments • Check every piece for scorch marks, shine and water spots Rotating shifts.
