Join our team: captain waiter (Ohio)

We are recruiting: we are hiring a captain waiter in Defiance County, Ohio. You will work in a coffee shop. On a typical shift you will restock side stations with sauces, condiments and napkins; pour water, wine and soft drinks and serve from the guest's left; explain the day's specials and recommend dishes; polish glasses, cutlery and crockery during mise en place; greet guests, seat them and present the menu; handle guest complaints and escalate to the captain or manager. You should have: • Smart, well-groomed appearance and a clean uniform • Basic numeracy for handling cash, bills and change • Ability to carry loaded trays and stay on your feet for long shifts Freshers welcome — about 3 years of practice is enough.
