Vacancy available: estate gardener (Florida)

Vacancy available: we are hiring an estate gardener in Dixie County, Florida. The job is on a golf course. Your main tasks: • Plant seasonal bedding plants, bulbs and saplings • Lay turf and oversow bare patches of lawn • Weed flower beds and borders by hand and with a hoe • Dig over and turn the soil and prepare seedbeds • Spray pesticides and fungicides to control pests and disease What we are looking for: • Previous experience as a gardener or in grounds maintenance • Good knowledge of common plants, shrubs and seasonal planting • Understanding of pruning and watering schedules Rotating shifts. Pay around $18 per hour, based on your experience. Walk-in interviews this week.
