Immediate opening: we are hiring a machine operator (earthworks) in Coconino County, Arizona. You will work at a road and highway construction project. The role involves: • Inspect tracks, bucket teeth and pins for wear before start-up • Swap buckets and attachments — rock breaker, grab, ripper, auger • Work safely around buried services with a banksman or spotter • Grade, level and batter slopes to the required gradient • Dig and trim drainage channels and attenuation ponds • Carry out daily greasing and check hydraulic oil, coolant and fuel levels Ideal candidate: • Physically fit for long hours in the cab on outdoor sites • Confident working to fine grade and tight tolerances • Reliable, punctual and able to get to site Full-time, day shift.
