Gang bricklayer wanted in Gwer West

Join our team: we are hiring a gang bricklayer in Gwer West, Benue State. Day-to-day duties: • Building the corners (leads) first and racking back the courses • Pointing and repointing weathered mortar joints • Brushing the wall down and removing mortar snots as you go • Cutting bricks to size with a bolster and club hammer or angle grinder • Buttering the perpends and tapping each brick down to the gauge • Spreading and furrowing mortar beds with the trowel You should have: • Reliable timekeeping and able to hit daily brick targets • Sound knowledge of mortar mixes and bonds (stretcher, English, Flemish) • NVQ Level 2 in Bricklaying an advantage Full-time, day shift. Walk-in interviews this week.
