Site carpenter • Surrey, England

Urgent requirement: we are hiring a site carpenter in Surrey, England. You will work at a kitchen and furniture manufacturer. On a typical shift you will finish surfaces with varnish, wax, lacquer or wood stain; check work for level, plumb and square with a spirit level; install skirting boards, architraves and dado rails; apply edge banding, veneers and laminate to board; cut sheet material and timber with a circular saw, jigsaw and table saw; build and erect roof trusses, rafters and stud partitions. Ideal candidate: • At least 2 years' hands-on carpentry experience • Good eye for detail and a clean finish We offer £2,400 per month plus benefits. Full-time with occasional weekends.
