Meat trimmer wanted in Franklin County

Now hiring: we are hiring a meat trimmer in Franklin County, Ohio. You will work at an abattoir or slaughterhouse. Day-to-day duties: • Portion steaks, chops and cutlets to the ordered weights • Keep HACCP hygiene records and sanitise the block and tools • Stuff and link fresh sausages with casings • Trim fat, sinew and silver skin off the cuts • Vacuum-pack and wrap customer orders • Weigh, price and label cuts for the display case Requirements: • Knowledge of halal slaughter and handling where required • Confident knife skills and safe blade handling 1+ years on the tools preferred. $3,200 per month, negotiable for the right hands.
