Framing carpenter wanted in Copper River Census Area

Vacancy available: we are hiring a framing carpenter in Copper River Census Area, Alaska. You will be based at a shopfitting company. What we are looking for: • Accurate to fine tolerances on finish work • CSCS card for site-based work an advantage • Confident with hand and power tools such as saws, routers and planers You will read and work from architectural drawings and cutting lists; measure and mark out timber using a tape, square and marking gauge; hang internal and external doors, fitting hinges, locks and handles; cut sheet material and timber with a circular saw, jigsaw and table saw; lay laminate, engineered and solid wood flooring. Full-time with occasional weekends. Meals and transport allowance provided. Pay around $27 per hour, based on your experience. Apply today to start as soon as possible.
