Ideal candidate: • Confident with hand and power tools such as saws, routers and planers • Own basic hand tools • NVQ Level 2/3 in Carpentry and Joinery or equivalent On a typical shift you will measure and mark out timber using a tape, square and marking gauge; cut sheet material and timber with a circular saw, jigsaw and table saw; fix studwork and plasterboard partitions; lay laminate, engineered and solid wood flooring; glue, clamp, screw and dowel joints together; apply edge banding, veneers and laminate to board. At least 1 year(s) in a similar role. $5,000 per month, negotiable for the right hands. A stable, long-term role with a friendly crew. Part-time with flexible hours.
