We are recruiting: we are hiring a canteen cook in Akko, Gombe State. You will be based in a hotel kitchen. Ideal candidate: • Able to lift heavy stock pots and sacks of supplies • Food hygiene / FoSTaC certificate • 2+ years' experience as a cook in a busy kitchen The role involves follow cleaning schedules and wash down work surfaces; label and date all prepped ingredients in the walk-in; follow standardised recipes and stick to portion sizes; monitor food temperatures and run regular HACCP checks; manage the tandoor and skewer kebabs; keep the station clean and sanitised throughout the shift.
