Powder coating technician — Chugach Census Area

We are recruiting: we are hiring a powder coating technician in Chugach Census Area, Alaska. You will work at a fabrication and coating plant. You should have: • Keen eye for finish quality and surface defects • Able to stand long shifts and lift parts up to 20 kg On the job you will handle: • Sieve and load powder into the spray gun hopper • Stack and pack finished parts without scratching the coat • Pre-treat parts through phosphating and rinse tanks • Record batch numbers, oven temperatures and coating thickness • Check dry film thickness with a DFT gauge in microns • Mask off threads, holes and machined faces with caps and tape Freshers welcome — about 2 years of practice is enough. Full-time with occasional weekends. Performance bonus on top of base pay. Contact us to fix an interview.
