Press setter operator wanted in Anaocha

Immediate opening: we are hiring a press setter operator in Anaocha, Anambra State. You will be based in a forging and pressing unit. Requirements: • Can use vernier calipers, micrometers and go/no-go gauges • ITI in fitter, machinist or sheet metal trade preferred • Physically fit to stand a full shift and lift blanks up to 20 kg Your main tasks: • Punch, blank, pierce, bend and form sheet metal components • Fit and check guards, light curtains and safety interlocks before starting • Set up and change stamping dies and tooling • Adjust press stroke, shut height and tonnage settings • Apply die lubricant and keep the tooling clean • Check stamped parts against drawings using vernier calipers and gauges At least 6 year(s) in a similar role.
