Now hiring: we are hiring a retail butcher in Gooding County, Idaho. The role involves trim fat, sinew and silver skin off the cuts; portion steaks, chops and cutlets to the ordered weights; sharpen and hone knives on a steel and whetstone; stuff and link fresh sausages with casings; weigh, price and label cuts for the display case. You should have: • Physically fit to lift carcasses and stand all day • Able to use a band saw, grinder and sausage filler • Able to identify primal cuts of beef, mutton and poultry At least 6 year(s) in a similar role.
