Wood machinist • Namchi, Sikkim

Vacancy available: we are hiring a wood machinist in Namchi, Sikkim. You will work on a busy construction site. You will cut mortise-and-tenon and dovetail joints with chisels and a mallet; cut sheet material and timber with a circular saw, jigsaw and table saw; build and erect roof trusses, rafters and stud partitions; apply edge banding, veneers and laminate to board; measure and mark out timber using a tape, square and marking gauge. Ideal candidate: • Own basic hand tools • Confident with hand and power tools such as saws, routers and planers • Accurate to fine tolerances on finish work Rotating shifts.
