Counter butcher • Kamjong, Manipur

Great opportunity: we are hiring a counter butcher in Kamjong, Manipur. The job is at a busy retail butcher's shop. Requirements: • Comfortable working in cold rooms and chillers • Knowledge of halal slaughter and handling where required • Able to use a band saw, grinder and sausage filler Day to day you will portion steaks, chops and cutlets to the ordered weights; break down beef, mutton and chicken carcasses into primal cuts; mince meat and prepare keema on the grinder; take customer orders and advise on cuts and cooking; sharpen and hone knives on a steel and whetstone; keep HACCP hygiene records and sanitise the block and tools. Freshers welcome — about 4 years of practice is enough. Meals and transport allowance provided. Rotating shifts. Contact us to fix an interview.
