Collision repair technician — Luton

Vacancy available: we are hiring a collision repair technician in Luton, England. The job is at a paint and panel shop. What we are looking for: • Skilled in MIG welding and panel replacement • Good eye for panel gaps and body lines • Confident reading insurance estimates and damage reports The role involves shrink stretched and oil-canned metal with a shrinking hammer; MIG-weld and spot-weld new panels into place; knock out dents and creases using a panel hammer and dolly; pull out deep dents with a slide hammer or stud welder; measure and set panel gaps for an even shut line; mask off glass, rubbers and trim before painting. Pay around £3,000 per month, based on your experience. Six days a week, one day off. Contact us to fix an interview.
