Immediate opening: gang bricklayer (Illinois)

We are recruiting: we are hiring a gang bricklayer in Johnson County, Illinois. Day to day you will spreading and furrowing mortar beds with the trowel; laying bricks to the line, level and plumb; brushing the wall down and removing mortar snots as you go; installing damp-proof courses, lintels and cavity trays; pointing and repointing weathered mortar joints; mixing mortar to the right consistency with sand, cement and plasticiser. You should have: • Proven experience laying facing and engineering bricks • NVQ Level 2 in Bricklaying an advantage Rotating shifts. A stable, long-term role with a friendly crew.
