Formwork carpenter wanted in Montgomery County

Immediate opening: we are hiring a formwork carpenter in Montgomery County, Ohio. Day to day you will erect formwork and shuttering for concrete pours; finish surfaces with varnish, wax, lacquer or wood stain; cut mortise-and-tenon and dovetail joints with chisels and a mallet; assemble bespoke and flat-pack kitchen units and fit worktops; plane and sand timber to a smooth, square finish; hang internal and external doors, fitting hinges, locks and handles. Requirements: • Able to read technical drawings and cutting lists • CSCS card for site-based work an advantage • NVQ Level 2/3 in Carpentry and Joinery or equivalent Six days a week, one day off.
