Production operative — Lancaster County

Vacancy available: we are hiring a production operative in Lancaster County, Nebraska. Ideal candidate: • Good attention to detail and steady hands • Willing to work rotating day and night shifts The role involves: • Report breakdowns to the maintenance fitter • Set up and start the machine as per the job card • Top up coolant, lubricant and hydraulic oil levels • Measure parts with vernier calliper, micrometer and go/no-go gauges • Follow lockout-tagout before cleaning or clearing the machine • Clear jams and remove rejected parts from the line Freshers welcome — about 2 years of practice is enough.
