Roofer • Gummi, Zamfara State

Urgent requirement: we are hiring a roofer in Gummi, Zamfara State. You will be based at a roofing and cladding contractor. On a typical shift you will fix clay and concrete tiles onto the battens; erect and dismantle roof edge protection and scaffolding; nail down asphalt shingles in staggered courses; solder and seam standing-seam metal roof sheets; seal joints and penetrations with mastic and lead flashing; hang box gutters and downpipes for rainwater. Requirements: • Confident working at height on ladders and scaffolds • A driving licence is an advantage for site travel • Own hand tools (hammer, nail gun, slate ripper) 4+ years on the tools preferred. Meals and transport allowance provided. Full-time, day shift. Walk-in interviews this week.
