Articulated lorry driver wanted in Smith County

Vacancy available: we are hiring an articulated lorry driver in Smith County, Texas. You will be based at a container freight yard. What we are looking for: • Clean driving record with no recent endorsements • Physically fit for long hours behind the wheel You will check load weight and axle distribution against permitted limits; check tyre pressures, engine oil, coolant and brake fluid levels; secure loads with ratchet straps, chains and load bars; carry out daily walk-around vehicle checks before setting off. Six days a week, one day off. Meals and transport allowance provided. Pay around $4,300 per month, based on your experience. Walk-in interviews this week.
