Sheet metal press operator wanted in Derby

We are recruiting: we are hiring a sheet metal press operator in Derby, England. You will work at a white goods manufacturing plant. You should have: • Familiar with die setting and quick tool changes • Able to read engineering drawings and job cards • 1-2 years' experience on power or hydraulic presses On the job you will handle: • Watch for cracks, burrs, wrinkles and double-hits on parts • Load metal sheets, blanks and coils onto the press bed • Record output and downtime on the production sheet • Top up the press hydraulic oil and grease the slide ways • Clear scrap and offcuts from the die area On-the-job training and a clear path to grow. Part-time with flexible hours. Walk-in interviews this week.
