Great opportunity: we are hiring a bench joiner in Accomack County, Virginia. You will work on a commercial fit-out site. Day-to-day duties: • Cut mortise-and-tenon and dovetail joints with chisels and a mallet • Read and work from architectural drawings and cutting lists • Measure and mark out timber using a tape, square and marking gauge • Glue, clamp, screw and dowel joints together Ideal candidate: • Own basic hand tools • Good eye for detail and a clean finish • Sound knowledge of timber types, grades and fixings Six days a week, one day off. Overtime paid at a premium rate. Pay around $3,600 per month, based on your experience. Contact us to fix an interview.
