Vacancy available: finishing plasterer (Nevada)

Now hiring: we are hiring a finishing plasterer in Carson City, Nevada. You will be based at a plastering and dry lining contractor. Ideal candidate: • Good head for heights for ceiling and stairwell work • Proven experience hand-skimming and floating to a flat finish • Reliable timekeeping and a strong work ethic Your main tasks: • Tape and joint plasterboard seams with scrim and filler • Clean trowels, buckets and mixers before the plaster sets • Patch and repair cracked, blown or hollow plaster • Float and rule off walls to a flat surface with a straightedge • Apply scratch coats and key the surface for the next coat • Dub out hollows and uneven areas before skimming Six days a week, one day off.
