Vacancy available: wood machinist (Oklahoma)

Immediate opening: we are hiring a wood machinist in Craig County, Oklahoma. The job is at a shopfitting company. Ideal candidate: • Confident with hand and power tools such as saws, routers and planers • Physically fit to lift, kneel and work at height • At least 2 years' hands-on carpentry experience You will glue, clamp, screw and dowel joints together; finish surfaces with varnish, wax, lacquer or wood stain; assemble bespoke and flat-pack kitchen units and fit worktops; cut mortise-and-tenon and dovetail joints with chisels and a mallet; read and work from architectural drawings and cutting lists; cut sheet material and timber with a circular saw, jigsaw and table saw. 1+ years on the tools preferred.
