Maintenance painter • Thurston County, Washington

We are recruiting: we are hiring a maintenance painter in Thurston County, Washington. You will be based in a paint and spray workshop. Requirements: • Physically fit for standing, bending and reaching all day • 2+ years experience as a painter and decorator • Sound knowledge of surface prep and the right primers Day to day you will strip old paint and wallpaper with scrapers and heat guns; sand and fill walls before applying primer; measure up and work out paint and material quantities; hang lining paper and wallpaper, matching patterns at the seams; mask off windows, skirting and fittings with tape and sheeting; carry out snagging and touch-ups before handover. Full-time with occasional weekends. $3,200 per month, negotiable for the right hands. Share your details and we will call you back.
