Now hiring: we are hiring a LGV Class 1 driver in Wayne County, Georgia. Ideal candidate: • Willing to take on night and multi-day trips • Confident with manual handling and load securing • Minimum 2 years' long-haul experience Day to day you will plan routes and rest stops in line with driving-hours rules; check tyre pressures, engine oil, coolant and brake fluid levels; check load weight and axle distribution against permitted limits; keep a safe following distance, adjusting for weather and load; secure loads with ratchet straps, chains and load bars; operate tail-lifts and pump trucks during loading and unloading.
