Now hiring: we are hiring a cnc turner in Carson County, Texas. You will be based in a precision engineering workshop. Requirements: • Confident with micrometers, vernier calipers and bore gauges • Able to hold tolerances to ±0.01 mm • Comfortable standing for long shifts and lifting up to 20 kg On the job you will handle: • Load and index turning tools in the turret • Check diameters and lengths against the spec sheet • Top up coolant and clear swarf from the bed • Write and edit G-code programs at the control • Deburr and chamfer machined parts by hand 6+ years on the tools preferred. Six days a week, one day off. Meals and transport allowance provided. $3,800 per month, negotiable for the right hands. Walk-in interviews this week.
