Sheet metal press operator — Summit County

Now hiring: we are hiring a sheet metal press operator in Summit County, Ohio. The job is at a white goods manufacturing plant. What we are looking for: • Willing to work rotating day and night shifts • Basic understanding of metal grades and thicknesses • Attention to detail and steady hands for accurate loading Day-to-day duties: • Feed blanks into the die and remove formed parts • Punch, blank, pierce, bend and form sheet metal components • Top up the press hydraulic oil and grease the slide ways • Run the press using two-hand controls and foot pedal safely • Clear scrap and offcuts from the die area • Watch for cracks, burrs, wrinkles and double-hits on parts Full-time with occasional weekends.
