Now hiring: gang bricklayer (Alaska)

We are recruiting: we are hiring a gang bricklayer in Chugach Census Area, Alaska. The role involves: • Mixing mortar to the right consistency with sand, cement and plasticiser • Checking every course for height and level with a gauge rod • Installing damp-proof courses, lintels and cavity trays • Buttering the perpends and tapping each brick down to the gauge • Pointing and repointing weathered mortar joints You should have: • Reliable timekeeping and able to hit daily brick targets • Able to lay to line, level and plumb consistently At least 4 year(s) in a similar role. Six days a week, one day off. Overtime paid at a premium rate. We offer $4,300 per month plus benefits. Contact us to fix an interview.
