Now hiring: we are hiring an elevator service technician in Morigaon, Assam. You will work at a shopping mall with escalators and lifts. Requirements: • Good head for heights for pit and car-top work • Sound electrical competence in three-phase and low-voltage wiring On the job you will handle: • Rope up the traction machine and reeve the hoisting cables • Replace worn sheaves, rollers, contactors and relays • Service the traction motor, brake and gearbox • Set and test the overspeed governor and safety gear • Carry out planned preventive maintenance and grease the guide shoes • Fill in the service logbook and statutory inspection paperwork ₹1,750 per day, negotiable for the right hands.
