Bakery assistant wanted in Logan County

Join our team: we are hiring a bakery assistant in Logan County, Oklahoma. You will work at a busy bakery. The role involves boil sugar syrup for glazes and icing; prove dough in the proofer at the right temperature and humidity; pipe and fill cakes, pastries and cream rolls; decorate cakes with icing, fondant and fresh cream; check finished products for colour, crumb and weight; rotate stock and follow FIFO on raw materials. What we are looking for: • Knowledge of dough fermentation and proving • Understanding of food-safety and HACCP basics $3,500 per month, negotiable for the right hands. Overtime paid at a premium rate. Six days a week, one day off. Walk-in interviews this week.
