Finishing presser wanted in Kirklees

We are recruiting: we are hiring a finishing presser in Kirklees, England. You will work in a garment export house. Day-to-day duties: • Press open seams, darts and pleats during stitching • Keep the boiler topped up and hold steady steam pressure • Check every piece for scorch marks, shine and water spots • Hang or fold pressed garments and pass them to packing • Fuse interlinings and fusible tape on the fusing press • Meet the daily piece target without damaging garments You should have: • 1-2 years' experience pressing garments in a factory • A keen eye for scorch, shine and uneven creases We offer £1,750 per month plus benefits. On-the-job training and a clear path to grow. Full-time with occasional weekends. Walk-in interviews this week.
