Horticulturist — Carroll County

Immediate opening: we are hiring a horticulturist in Carroll County, Illinois. What we are looking for: • Understanding of pruning and watering schedules • Physically fit for bending, lifting and long hours outdoors • Able to safely operate mowers, strimmers and hedge trimmers On the job you will handle: • Rake up fallen leaves, grass clippings and garden waste • Water beds and lawns and set up drip irrigation lines • Weed flower beds and borders by hand and with a hoe • Cut back tree branches and clear overhanging limbs • Plant seasonal bedding plants, bulbs and saplings Freshers welcome — about 5 years of practice is enough. We offer $4,000 per month plus benefits. A stable, long-term role with a friendly crew. Rotating shifts. Walk-in interviews this week.
