Urgent requirement: baker (Illinois)

We are recruiting: we are hiring a baker in Adams County, Illinois. On a typical shift you will keep work surfaces and equipment clean to food-safety standards; roll out short-crust and biscuit dough; weigh and mix flour, yeast, water and salt to the day's recipe; boil sugar syrup for glazes and icing; pipe and fill cakes, pastries and cream rolls. You should have: • Understanding of food-safety and HACCP basics • Food handler / hygiene certificate • Able to lift 25 kg flour sacks Freshers welcome — about 5 years of practice is enough. $250 per day, negotiable for the right hands. Overtime paid at a premium rate. Six days a week, one day off. Walk-in interviews this week.
