Presser — Dambatta

We are recruiting: we are hiring a presser in Dambatta, Kano State. You will work at a textile finishing unit. On the job you will handle: • Remove creases, wrinkles and packing folds with a steam iron • Hang or fold pressed garments and pass them to packing • Keep the boiler topped up and hold steady steam pressure • Set the iron temperature to suit cotton, silk, wool and synthetic fabrics • Spray water or starch to set sharp creases on trousers and shirts • Meet the daily piece target without damaging garments You should have: • Able to keep pace with line speed and piece targets • Comfortable standing long shifts in a hot, humid environment • Aware of steam iron safety and basic machine upkeep At least 3 year(s) in a similar role.
