On a typical shift you will clean welded corners on a corner-cleaning machine and chisel off the weld flash; rout lock and hardware pockets with the copy router; insert galvanised steel reinforcement into the profile chambers and screw-fix it; check the frame for square by measuring the diagonals; fuse-weld frame and sash corners on the welding machine and check the weld seam. Ideal candidate: • Comfortable handling and lifting glazed units safely • An eye for finish — no scratches, clean welds, flush beads • Knowledge of common hardware systems such as espagnolette and friction hinges Part-time with flexible hours.
