Vacancy available: furnace operator (Ogun State)

Immediate opening: we are hiring a furnace operator in Ewekoro, Ogun State. Day-to-day duties: • Skim slag and dross off the melt before tapping and pouring • Cut off risers, runners and gates with a grinder or torch • Assemble cope and drag mould halves and clamp them together • Pour molten metal into the moulds using hand or crane ladles You should have: • Willing to work in hot, dusty conditions and rotating shifts • Keen eye for casting defects during inspection • Basic grinding and fettling skills 5+ years on the tools preferred.
