Now hiring: plant operator (Delta State)

Immediate opening: we are hiring a plant operator in Warri South, Delta State. Day to day you will dig and trim drainage channels and attenuation ponds; inspect tracks, bucket teeth and pins for wear before start-up; work to laser, GPS or 2D/3D machine-control guidance; lift and place pipes, manholes and precast sections with the bucket and chains; grade, level and batter slopes to the required gradient; swap buckets and attachments — rock breaker, grab, ripper, auger. What we are looking for: • Able to read drawings, setting-out pegs and level pegs • Own PPE — safety boots, hi-vis and hard hat • Sound understanding of daily maintenance and greasing 3+ years on the tools preferred.
