Now hiring: we are hiring a crane operator in Whiteside County, Illinois. Day to day you will park up the crane, stow the jib and isolate at end of shift; hoist, slew and lower loads smoothly and under control; climb and inspect the tower crane mast and tie-ins; keep a safe distance from overhead power lines; fill in the daily logbook and raise defect reports. You should have: • Able to read load charts and lifting plans • Strong attention to safety and load limits • A good head for heights for tower crane work At least 5 year(s) in a similar role. Overtime paid at a premium rate. Rotating shifts. Walk-in interviews this week.
