Shuttering fixer • Kwami, Gombe State

Now hiring: we are hiring a shuttering fixer in Kwami, Gombe State. Day to day you will set up adjustable steel props and falsework to support the slab decking; watch the formwork during concreting and tighten up any movement; read formwork drawings and setting-out marks to position the shutters; fix stop ends and kickers at the construction joints; cut and assemble plywood and timber panels for columns, beams and slabs; check alignment with spirit level, plumb bob and string line. Requirements: • Sound understanding of props, bracing and load-bearing • Confident working at height on scaffold and decking • Knows de-shuttering times and concrete curing Part-time with flexible hours.
