CNC machine operator • Smith County, Texas

Vacancy available: we are hiring a CNC machine operator in Smith County, Texas. You will be based in a CNC machine shop. On a typical shift you will measure parts with vernier calliper, micrometer and go/no-go gauges; key in cycle parameters such as speed, feed rate and temperature; follow lockout-tagout before cleaning or clearing the machine; report breakdowns to the maintenance fitter; change tooling, dies and moulds during product changeovers; top up coolant, lubricant and hydraulic oil levels. You should have: • ITI or diploma in fitter or machinist trade an advantage • Willing to work rotating day and night shifts Performance bonus on top of base pay. Six days a week, one day off.
