We are recruiting: we are hiring a head baker in Storey County, Nevada. The role involves: • Score the top of loaves before baking • Knead and develop dough by hand and in the spiral mixer • Boil sugar syrup for glazes and icing • Weigh and mix flour, yeast, water and salt to the day's recipe • Pipe and fill cakes, pastries and cream rolls • Load and unload the deck oven with a peel You should have: • 2+ years' experience as a baker • Understanding of food-safety and HACCP basics • Food handler / hygiene certificate At least 2 year(s) in a similar role.
