Immediate opening: groundskeeper (Georgia)

Urgent requirement: we are hiring a groundskeeper in Irwin County, Georgia. You will work in a botanical garden. Day to day you will check and adjust sprinkler timers and irrigation heads; maintain compost heaps and the potting shed; apply fertiliser, compost and mulch to beds; prune hedges, shrubs and ornamental trees with secateurs and hedge trimmers; repot nursery stock and pot on cuttings; water beds and lawns and set up drip irrigation lines. Requirements: • Physically fit for bending, lifting and long hours outdoors • Previous experience as a gardener or in grounds maintenance Performance bonus on top of base pay. Six days a week, one day off. Walk-in interviews this week.
