Join our team: we are hiring a CO2 welder in Gombe, Gombe State. You will be based on a structural steel site. Ideal candidate: • Able to pass a 3G/4G plate test • Knowledge of short-circuit and spray-transfer modes • ITI in welder trade or equivalent Your main tasks: • Set the wire feed speed and voltage to suit the plate thickness • Read fabrication drawings and weld symbols • Clear spatter and slag, then wire-brush the finished bead • Bevel and grind the joint edges clean before welding • Lay stringer and weave beads on fillet and butt joints • Load ER70S-6 wire spools and check the drive rolls Freshers welcome — about 6 years of practice is enough.
