Hand presser wanted in Dallas County

Immediate opening: we are hiring a hand presser in Dallas County, Texas. You will be based at a dry cleaner's. On a typical shift you will set the iron temperature to suit cotton, silk, wool and synthetic fabrics; give each garment a final press before packing; shape collars, cuffs and lapels using a tailor's ham and sleeve board; clean and descale the iron soleplate and steam vents; keep the boiler topped up and hold steady steam pressure. Ideal candidate: • 1-2 years' experience pressing garments in a factory • Able to keep pace with line speed and piece targets • Able to operate a steam press, vacuum table and fusing machine 3+ years on the tools preferred. Full-time, day shift. On-the-job training and a clear path to grow. We offer $150 per day plus benefits. Walk-in interviews this week.
