Now hiring: we are hiring an elevator service technician in Eleme, Rivers State. The job is on a lift modernisation project. You will respond to entrapment call-outs and release trapped passengers; service the traction motor, brake and gearbox; install guide rails, brackets and counterweight frames in the hoistway; measure rope tension and check for broken strands. Ideal candidate: • ITI in electrical/mechanical or an equivalent trade certificate • Comfortable working at height and in confined hoistways Freshers welcome — about 2 years of practice is enough.
