Now hiring: we are hiring a gang bricklayer in Phillips County, Arkansas. You will be based on a scaffolded high-rise site. Ideal candidate: • CSCS card or willingness to obtain one • Able to lay to line, level and plumb consistently • Own trowel, spirit level and basic hand tools Day to day you will building cavity walls and bedding in wall ties and insulation; building the corners (leads) first and racking back the courses; laying bricks to the line, level and plumb; cutting bricks to size with a bolster and club hammer or angle grinder; raking out and tooling the joints to a struck or bucket-handle finish; forming arches, piers and reveals around openings. Freshers welcome — about 1 years of practice is enough. Pay around $4,900 per month, based on your experience. Overtime paid at a premium rate. Six days a week, one day off.
