Great opportunity: we are hiring a butcher in Okrika, Rivers State. On a typical shift you will weigh, price and label cuts for the display case; take customer orders and advise on cuts and cooking; keep halal cuts separated and clearly handled; dress the chilled counter and rotate stock by date; break down beef, mutton and chicken carcasses into primal cuts; vacuum-pack and wrap customer orders. Ideal candidate: • Confident knife skills and safe blade handling • Comfortable working in cold rooms and chillers • Able to use a band saw, grinder and sausage filler Full-time with occasional weekends.
